Question

Bone Tool acting....erratically

Hi, I need some serious help with rigging Adobe Animate CC. Issue can be seen here, but a little explanation of the issue I'm experiencing: When I use the bone tool, several difficult-to-predict behaviors occur, including random movement of graphic symbols when I connect bones, unintended (and seemingly random) graphics moving when using the free transform tool on specific symbols (being sure to isolate the symbol I intend to move), and control+Z not working properly as an "undo," and instead moves anything connected with the bone structure at random.

I'm trying to teach myself how to use the application, so I'll be honest: I'm a greenhorn here. So, I'm really at your mercy. Any information is helpful, and I'm desperate. Just...tell me what I'm doing wrong here.

Some info:

1. running most up-to-date version of Animate CC, on MacOS 10.12.

2. Already uninstalled and reinstalled the application, being sure to remove and rebuild all libraries (and preferences, I believe.)

I know of bones related things that were fixed recently, but that are not yet in the latest update. I don't know when the next update is. If you want to try to be part of the prerelease program for Animate, reply here to say so, and I'll ask someone from the Animate team to contact you. If what you're seeing is fixed, you can be reassured. If it's something new, the team would be happy to get the report.
