Buttons with text of different sizes

I've created 3 buttons and added text within each up layer.

Unfortunately, now the text in every single button has a different size. Although 20px are selected in each case.
I can't explain what I did wrong. Does anyone have a hint for me?

    if the up text is different sizes, and all text is 20px AND THE SAME FONT, then the buttons are probably scaled differently.

      click the button instance that's scaled the way you want and note the scale width/height in the transform panel.  then click the other buttons and check their scale width/height and adjust (in the transform panel) to match.
