Can I edit a symbol thats moving in a tween?

lets say its a happy face symbol and its moving to the left...and in one frame I want it to wink but...still moving ...who can I do that?----I create new frame...or ...change the symbol from the inside?

how can I do that in just 1-2 frames and the symbol keeps moving.
