Can pieces of clipart be separated to make movable attributes, like birds' wings?

I have a clipart picture of a bird that I thought maybe I could animate so I would not have to draw a bird. I was wondering if there is a way to separate the wing of the bird in Adobe Animate so that I could animate the wing moving independantly of the bird's body. That way, I would not have to draw the bird.
