Can't change keyboard shortcuts

I can't change the keyboard shortcuts in the latest version of Animate without it freezing. I go to edit-> keyboard shortcuts and the window doesn't come up and Animate just freezes. This makes the program totally useless to me...yay!

Hmm yea that's probably my best option. Do you know what the name of that file is? I looked through the configuration folder but it didn't pop out at me.

make the entire preference folder read only, C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Animate\<version>,

Hi,

I've got the same issue with Animate, the shortcuts window doesn't appear and the software turns to freeze.

I have to press the ESC touch to back to normal.

Someboy could help me to fix the problem please ?

if you successfully deleted your preferences file:

uninstall animate cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

restart your computer

reinstall animate cc
