Can't drag image to stage from library or move image or file in the library in adobe animate

Question

I can't moove any of my imported png file in the library to a folder or to the stage. The stage is not locked but still having issues, Im falling behind on my university assignment because of this

I think I have the exact same problem. As soon as I try to drag any object from the library I get a red circle as a cursor. This hinders me from dropping the object to the stage or even between folders in the library. It works fine when I import images directly to the stage, but I can´t do anytning with images I have imported to the library.

I have no locked layers and I have tried to start new projects with the same result.

Reinstalling Animate do not fix the problem either.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
