Can't draw short lines, neither small objects like small circles

This thing is really frustrating, basically small details is nearly impossible to do with animate, this very thing stops me from animating, because my character requires a lot of small details, does anybody know how to at least make this less painful to use? i can't stand on using this if i cannot do small details
