Can't move Large Images?

Hello, I'm trying to move a huge image (20560x980) across my 2048x1536 (iPad) canvas, and it looks like the image cannot move beyond 5606 pixels in any direction. When I input the precise ending point (x.-20432) it simply reverts to '-5606'. - Is there any way around this?
