Can't output .air files anymore

Since the last update, when publishing using AIR the option to Output as "AIR file" is grayed out. I can only publish as Windows Installer or Application with runtime embedded:

How can I generate air files now?

It doesn't let me select the AIR option, changing the filename is not enough


start a new 'air for desktop' project.  any problem with that?

select air for desktop (if that's what you want) from the document properties panel:
