Can't select inner shadow or inner glow filter options?

Using Animate 18.0.1 (Build 115), in an HTML5 Canvas project.

The Drop Shadow and Glow filters both have an "inner shadow/glow" option in the filter properties, but it's disabled. What gives?

You may be able to use scripting to add a glow effect or inner shadow effect using EaselJS plugin or another third-party script.
