Cannot change font in Animate

I am new to Animate and I am having problems changing the font.

I have a text box with static text which I want to change to a another font that is installed on my pc and is visible in the dropdown in Animate. It does change the font, but when I click outside the box the the new font is not applied.

By the way: Is it possible to copy-paste the font attibutes like in Premiere Pro, so that I don't have to change the font manually in all text boxes?
