Cant open any of my newish files (from like dec 2018 to now)

Whenever i try to open a fla file it says "error occurred opening file "(location of fla and name).fla)

heck, even when i CREATE  a new file and then try to load it again the same thing happens PLEASE help me, because i have a REALLY important file i NEED for my job.

Well... I think that there is something wrong with your whole installation and it is manifesting in the fact that you cannot open files.

You'd better call support or try to do a complete uninstall with clean up and so on.

Since you say that you can't open only the newer files, I'd assume you can open older files; this makes me wonder if there is some file locking done by newer versions of Animate - DRM style stuff - but I won't speculate. Just one more reason to dislike the whole CC thing.

No, Im on windows, And i cant try another version since i dont have adobe cloud since whenever i download it never starts.

And i my partition is OEM if thats what you mean.

Hi Anna,

Are you on a mac?

There was a topic about people having issues with certain type of mac partitions and certain versions of Flash/Animate.

Try searching for it.

ALL-CAPSing "HELP" is insufficient amount of information.

Please, provide details of your OS, partition type, version of Flanimete and anything that YOU might think is relevant to the situation - i.e. system updates and so on.

Have you tried an older version of Flanimate?

What you describe is unusual, but someone might be able to help.
