change graphic symbol frame number glitch.

I have a subtitle flash project, every time I want to change a frame, It gliches out.

    I was trying to show that the frame picker isn't working properly.

    whatever is on stage at frame 218 of your graphic symbol is having its frame change when you change the frame picker setting.  ie, this thing

     

    is having its frame changed in your video.

     

     

    do you understand?  you're not going to see symbol 1 jump to frame 17 unless you go back to the main timeline, select a frame that contains symbol one, and then use the frame picker and select 17.
