Change size of stage on mouseover

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me. I need to make more content appear below an image on mouseover. My thought is that I need to change the stage height on mouseover. Can anybody help me do this or tell me a better way?

Needs to look like the rollover banners on http://www.thisisfakediy.co.uk/ (the transition bends aren't majorly important though)

start with the increased stage height and add a background colored rectangular movieclip at stage bottom (so the stage looks shorter).  then move or remove or otherwise make that movieclip not visible when you want to make it appear as if the stage increased in height.

Thanks for the quick answer. I am doing it as a banner like on the fakediy site though so when the rest of the content shows it needs to show ontop of the website. Having a background would not work if you see what I mean?
