Changing the centre of scaling?

Hi, I'm a bit of a newbie at using actionscript so sorry if
this is an obvious question. I'm trying to create a scalable,
panable map (
http://uploader.polorix.net//files/290/mapexp1.swf).

The only problem is that the zoom in / out function zooms
from the centre of the map image, rather than the centre of the
screen. This makes it very hard to zoom in to a particular point in
the map. Take a look at the swf - see what I mean?

Any suggestions on how I could fix this would be great.

So, is there any way to change the registration point so that it's always in the centre of the screen?

What I'm going for is something like this: http://www.flashkit.com/movies/Effects/Other/Auto_zoo-T_Norman-6578/index.php

But instead of it zooming from the point of the mouse click, it zooms from the centre of the current view.
