Hello, im parsing xml's into flash, but sometimes these xmls contain characters like é and are then displayed like a square or some other bizar character, anyway to prevent this.. ?

Flash uses unicode since version 6 so there is no pronlem with "understanding" your characters, the problem is (most likely) "drawing" them. Probably the font you use for displaa either doesn't have the characters at all, or you don't have then embeded.
Other possibility is, that your xml's charrset isn't unicode but something else - so make it unicode.
