Child animation on grouped objects.

Hello.
I imagine this is quite simple. But I haven't figured it out yet.

This is what I have:

I want to animate the group (parent and child), with the parent's registration point as the group's point.

And inside this animation, I want to animate the child with it's own registration point.

I've tried creating a movie symbol. But then I don't have access to the child object to animate it.

Thanks a lot!

If this is a short, simple animation, just create a second timeline inside the parent that's the same duration as the animation and animate the child there.

If that doesn't work for you, you're going to have to learn the Bone tool.

It's a super simple animation. I just want the child object to have some delay secondary animation.
Thanks, I'll try both. Bones sound like something useful for later, too.
