Classic Brush in adobe animate ... have you seen it in other apps mobile or desktop?

Hi there!

I'm sorry if this was asked or has been answer elsewhere, but I don't know enough technical terms to ask this to find what I am looking for. I draw and color comics entirely in Adobe Animate. These are the features I am married to;

1. The classic brush allows me to draw a closed vector shape when I paint a mark. It is not merely a stroke that I can style. When I draw an overlapping mark, the vector shape is merged complete with fill. I can also stroke this shape if I wish.

2. When I use selection tool, I can tweak - push and pull the edge of said shape above like putty, without getting into anchor points and curve tools.

3. There are two buttons that allows me to round out the curves or make the angles sharper on any selected shape.

I wonder if you have seen this type of brush in other apps? On desktop or mobile? I am trying to add additional apps to my teaching but I would love to be able make drawings this way in other apps. I just love making illustrations in an organic "sculpting" kind of way. Thank you so much!

    You can also try Adobe Fresco. It's like Photoshop and Illustrator got together and had a baby called Fresco.

    In Illustrator, a similar tool for painting with a fill would be the Blob brush:

    Illustrator doesn't offer the same ability to push and pull edges, but you can use Astute Graphics' plugin, Reform, to do that with additional controls such as rounding curves or making them angles:
