Clearing a browsers cache

Question

Hi,

I'm having a problem with Internet Exporer, for some reason
the cache must be clear for my SWF to work in full. I'm using Flash
pro 8 to code this and I have noticed there is a way to clear the
cache using Flash MX 2004, using cache Manager, but is there a way
to do it with flash 8?

I think you are confusing clearing Flash's cached ASO files and clearing
your browser cache. Do you mean you can clear the cached ASO files from
within the Flash authoring application? There's no way I know of to clear
the browser's cache using Flash...

If this is what you are looking for, in Flash 8 you can find this natively
under

Control >> Delete ASO Files
