combobox doesn't work when placed over Movieclip

I'm making a combobox with actionscript in a movieclip, it all works exept when i try to open the combobox, this only works when there is nothing else underneath the combobox. so i suppose there is a problem with the depth of the list or something.
But i've been looking for a solution for 4hours now and can't seem to find it! Can anybody help me?

yes actually, i posted it on a other forum as well and they suggested to place the combobox in a new movieclip and then use yourMCName._lockroot = true;

this worked for me! good luck

I am looking around the net but it seems to be a bug for the combobox component...
