Converting a 2016 .fla file

Is there a tool that converts a 2016 .fla file so I can open it in Animate 2021 and successfully output .swf file or movie file?

    Are you saying you've already tried to open it in 2021 and it didn't work?

    A few months back I tried...it opened, but it failed to output the movile...it stalled at 76% through. This happened twice. Are you suggesting the new 2021 version is different?   is there a tool to convert the 2016 to one compatible with the 2021 version?

    Opening an FLA and exporting it as a video are two completely different operations.
