Converting FLASH that uses action script 2 to HTML

Hello,

We have about 400+ diagrams that have hotspots in some areas and onclick events that are created in .swf files and action script. I am trying to figure out an easy to convert them to HTML5 and javascript without having to redraw all the hotspots and coding all the onlcick events.

I was able to recreate one but it takes a long time to recreate so I am trying to see if there is a way to convert them.

Just doing some research now and trying to get ideas.

Thank you,

Charles

    Hello,

Maybe I am using the wrong function in Adobe Animate cc.

Because when I convert it only gives me the diagram but no "hotspots" or anything.

So I go in there and recreate all the circles.

    Thank you,

    Charles

    Hi.

Oh I see... The graphics should really be kept as they are. I was thinking your biggest problem was the code.

Anyway... We really need one - better two - sample files so we can understand exactly what's happening and how we can help you.

    Hi.

Would you mind sharing one of these diagrams?

Because if they all follow a pattern, I think it may be possible to accomplish this task using JSFL.

    Hello,

I have a very simple one that I can show you as an image. We do have  2 dimensional diagrams that almost do the same thing but unfortunately I can't display them.

And when you hover over the blue circle it displays the number in green.

Like I said before I can recreate them but I am looking for a faster way because we have a lot of diagrams that would need to be recreated.

    Thank you,

    Charles

I can't think of any reason why you'd have to redraw any of the "hotspots". They should just be vector shapes, which should translate over to Canvas perfectly intact.
