Corrupted File, May Be Damaged

I have a fla project file that suddently corrupted on me. It still reads as 43 KB. The autorecovery prompt never appeared on my screen. Is there anything that can be done?

 

Quite horrible that a "professional" software generates such so easily. I suppose any "professional" label would refer, rather, to a specific type of user. This would be someone who is wise to the fact that the given software could, at any moment, fail. Therefore, I must be on my way to becoming professional. 

 

I would massively appreaciate anyone who could spare their time to check into my problem.

PS never rely on one and the same file with any software. Save a new version with each milestone, and do it often. Or use some kind of automated backup tool to do this for you.

    I opened the file in Animate 2021, and it seems to work without issues.

    It's a 70MB file.

      I had no difficulty opening your file, but maybe some of the work is missing from it?

      I can see the underlay and about 35 frames of rotoscoped piano. Ther rest are blank.

      The file size of the FLA you posted is 70MB, not 43.

        I did have a much earler save that I duplicated and had on my harddrive. I can open that one. I may have sent that insead -? A large lesson to be learned with this indeed: more duplicate saves more often.
