cs6 crashing constantly

I have downloaded flash cs6 as new version CC does no support as 2 flash 9 which makes no sense as this is what the majority of ad severs run for banners.

I am running flash cs6 on my mac book pro os x version 10.9.3  but the program is constantly crashing,. It's so bad that i have had to delay key jobs that i work on.  This is not a memory issue as i have a new mac with 16gb.

I need to fix this asap. What are my options.

first, reset your preferences by holding down shift-cmd-alt while starting flash.  if done correctly, you'll see a confirmation dialog.

if you fail to see the dialog, reset manually, http://helpx.adobe.com/flash/kb/re-create-preferences-flash-professional.html

if that fails, update your graphics driver.

if that fails, uninstall, clean and reinstall per Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
