Desparately need help scrolling a movie clip!

Hello!

I am trying to scroll a movie clip with a dragger and up and down buttons.

I've made all the elements for it (buttons, dragger, mask, mc etc) and just need to know where to put the actions and instance names to make it all work.

The elements can be found at www.spindriftmedia.com/scroll.fla or if anyone can tell me over the forum, that would be great.

I used a kirupa tutorial but that unfortunately failed to function properly within my site so please don't think I'm just being lazy!

i tried it but it didn't work unfortunately - i don't think i was doing anything wrong.

could i please be a pain and ask if you wouldn't mind taking a look at my fla at www.spindriftmedia.com/scoll.fla and seeing if you could get the buttons and dragger to work please?

if i call the mc 'content', up button 'upScroll', down button 'downScroll' and dragger 'dragger'.

would you mind telling me what code i would have to use in the main timeline please?

on your timeline that contains those movieclips you can use something like:

you can attach the code to your main timeline. the question you'll need to answer is what path/instance names you should use to correctly reference your buttons, dragger and mc.
