Difference testing in CS4 and on the Web

I'm loading an external XML file using ActionScript 3.0 in Adobe Flash Professional CS4. When I test the .fla in CS4 (ctrl/enter), it does not load the correct .mp3 files in two out of six cases. Yet, when I upload the file to the Web and test it, it works properly. Is there some setting in CS4 I am missing?

you could have a security sandbox issue and/or path issue(s) when testing locally.

Now that sounds interesting. Could you explain further? I am not aware of security sandbox. I thought of the path issue, but have knot kbeen able to determine where it might be.
