Do you create your characters in Adobe Illustrator and then import them into Adobe Animate, or do you create your characters within Animate itself?

Certainly.

Once in a while, I need to resize the artwork to a bigger size to overcome the 2000% maximum zoom value. But most of time I'm able to add every detail I want.

Not to mention that Animate is extremely easy and fast to manipulate, resize, move, and combine shapes without worrying about pathfinding panels, not intuitive boolean operations, and so on.

Do you have some example of what you consider to be a very detailed 2D vector artwork?

Cool. Do you find Animate gives you the precision that Illustrator does when it comes to creating the details?
