Duplicate Layers from one to another but replacing the graphic

Hello, 

I make graphic compnonats clickable for a web application. I start by creating amovie clip and then adding two layers (p_xx and v_xx). V_xx is then made into an button and in layer 2 i ad trhe script. is there a possibility to copy all the steps i do for one graphic to another without copying the graphic?
