"Dynamic Text Effect" extension

Anyone use the "Dynamic Text Effect" extension ( http://www.sandeys.com/dte/index.htm)?

I seldom use Flash, so maybe I'm missing something simple. But I can't seem to change the text color. When I change the animation effect or the font, the font color changes, seemingly to some random color. Changing the "ot" element color shows the new color on the property inspector, but nothing changes in the resulting animation -- the static text that remains after the animated "entrance" is still wrong.

The documentation on the extension is nonexistant, just a very basic animated walkthrough.

But Adobe Exchange rated it as their #2 top pic, and there have been 11,000+ paid downloads, so resumably others have been able to get what they want from it.

Thanks for any help...

Bill

Hi Bill,
Emailed you directly but came Return Mail. I've tried this one, it's an
inferior competitor to Components I offer (also found on Exchange). I also
noticed it missed basic spacing customization. Anyway, on a few occasions I
and some of my customers contacted MM about considering the ones I have
available on Exchange for 'Our Picks' but never any reply. Don't think
'picks' updates/rotates much.
Can't say how to fix color with the sandy's effect, but can give a tip to
test out PJ/S4/Astro components free trials, no font change but most
features available...
