Editing a Mesh

Is there a way to edit or redraw an object that has been converted to a mesh using the Warp Tool? I want to have the option of retouching the drawing without having to reapply the mesh. Hope that makes sense.

If you double-click on the object, you can edit the warpobject inside.

You should be able to make a copy of the object breaking apart, then you should be back to square one where you originally drew it.
