Export .fla as a svg, how to choose 'convert to outlines' for the font

When exporting a .fla file to svg, in the svg output, is there a way to specify that the font should be saved as outlines and not embed as text inside the svg.  I know this is possible in Illustrator (Export -> Svg -> Font: Convert To Outlines)

Many thanks

Correct answer _keyframer

Select the text field and press Ctrl + B twice. The first time you break apart, the text field will be broken into individual text fields for each character. Break apart again will convert the characters to fill shapes.

Pro tip: Deselect the text (now shapes) and then use the Ink Bottle tool (S) to add strokes to each fill shape. Then select and delete the fills and you are left with strokes/outlines.

no, the only options are shown in the publish settings panel, though you could break apart static text which would export as shapes.

Thanks for your reply, how would you approach breaking apart static text?

click the text>click modify>break apart>modify>break apart

you have to do it twice. the first break apart will break the individual letters apart and then while all the letters are selected doing it again will break the text into shapes.
