Export PNG Sequence from a Graphic not working

I'm trying to export a png sequence from a graphic, as I do all the time. For some reason, when I try to export, the options are 4x4 pixels, 1 dpi. Adjusting these does nothing towards resolving the issue and still produces blank pngs.
Any advice?

In case someone else has the same issue, double click the symbol in the library and make the contents bigger. This happens when you convert a tiny drawing/object on stage into a symbol. The size (in pixels) of the object will be the internal size of the symbol and when exported to PNG it will export at those dimensions.

create a new fla

copy the graphic from the original fla's library to the new fla

close the original fla

export from the new fla

any problem?

Thanks, I tried this but unfortunately it didn't work.
I found a workaround by separating the layers of the Graphic and exporting multiple png sequences to composit in AE.
