Extended Selection Border

I have a weird issue where my movie symbols are extending beyond the stage. I have ungrouped, and broken apart the contents and selected them again and grouped but no luck. Please see example attached as you will see everything is connected but the scaling is showing as though its entended.

    There must be something right at the edge of the box that's causing this, could be a white stroke or a small dot.  Break apart the contents again, select them, go to Edit and choose Invert Selection then hit delete.
