External link in button does not work

In an html canvas banner I created an external link in a button. In the test environment in works fine with chrome. But when I publish it, I can't click the button. No hover state is recognized and the click state with the link doesn't work either. 

I used the code snippet for html canvas and not for action script. 

Does anyone has an idea what the problem could be?
