Faucet missing?

Hi there,

I'm new to Animate and have been watching some tutorials (this one for ex.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsH9PSKcmv4). They all seem to be using the be faucet option when erasing lines. Now I don't seem to have that option in the 2020 version. I've expanded the toolbar so it's no visibility issue. Can someone help?

Cheers, Niels

Hi Niels,

With Eraser tool selected, the Faucet is available in tool options in Properties panel.

In my opinion, Faucet is a rather pointless tool as you can achieve the same by selecting the line with the V-tool and hitting Backspace.

If you add 'Backspace' to one of your stylus buttons you don't need to switch tools to remove bits of line. Just hold down Ctrl to temporarily switch to V-tool, click and press the button on stylus.
