Faucet tool does not stay selected in new 2019 version

Before Animate 2019, I used to select the Faucet tool at the beginning of a project, because I use it 95% of the time.  I would work for a while, then use the Eraser shortcut to access the faucet everytime I needed to erase a line.  Since the faucet was selected at the beginning, it stayed selected until I deselected it to use the eraser. 

I just updated to Animate 2019.  Every time I use the eraser shortcut to access the faucet, I get the default eraser.  I have to manually select the faucet every time I want to use it.  There is no short cut for the faucet tool, so it's a bit time consuming.

Is this a bug? Or is this a new feature?  I liked that the faucet stayed selected.  Is there an option somewhere where I can change that?
