firebug in firefox but no error messages

I am trying to load a game but it doesn't. There is no messgae in firebug so does that mean you only get certain error messages not all? Obviously in the flash

ide you get them all.

Is there a better debugging tool for online swfs like monster...

Firebug compatible version with new firefox4 downloaded and working although it gives me no debugging info on my flash app. I see that you can use monster debugger inside your app for online debugging so I will go that route.

as long as you're using a debug version of the flash player, you'll see all error messages. some problems (like faulty embed code) don't trigger flash error messages and cause the problem you're seeing.

Hi.

I have downloaded firebug which seems to do nothing and monsterdebugger. I have put the swc file in the folder they tod me to in com.demonster.debugger.

Then I have tried to initialize it in a game I am having trouble with - this seems to be a bit beyond my experience.

I have several games/activities that I am trying to add to a virtual world online. I have managed to "pop in" some after a whole day which makes me feel good but others which should be almost the same using the same functions to get the data just don't work.

I shall continue in my endeavour until success prevails.
