.fla file corrupted and RECOVER file deleted

So my .fla file got corrupted when I closed the application. I thought it was fine as I had a recover file that didn't save anything corrupted, but it seems like Animate deleted the RECOVER file.

I was wondering if there is any way to get this recover file back, as I know I can't uncorrupt the main file.

you can check your deleted folder, and if not there, you can use file recovery software.

and learn to prevent this by frequently saving your projects with increasing version number appended to the file name.

by deleted folder do you mean the windows recycle bin? or is it an adobe folder
