Flash CS6 error: 'The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)'

Suddenly getting this error on my version of Flash CS6.

 

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling all C++ packages on Windows 10 64-bit installation.

 

Also attempted to uninstall .NET 4.8 which has reinstalled itself with windows update.

 

I know that this is legacy software. I used Flash CS6 as it will run on my hardware. Adobe cc will not.

 

Any advice from any user/s who have actually experienced AND troubleshot this problem would be very much appreciated.

      no, it's what's needed to reinstall and activate cs6.
