Flash .OCX Error Message

After recent;y updating my flash player via Win XP, I now receive the following error message (which affects nothing, but it's very annoying since it wasn't popping up before this): "Cannot find Flash.OCX."

How do we solve this programming bug? I have been prompted to do another update a few days ago and hoped that it would fix it -- but to no avail. Same thing. Hopefully that is all that will occur to our PC's due to this lack of testing by the Adobe engineers...

I am having the same difficulty for a Mac. I download the flashplayer software, and then a message pops up that it can't find the plug in. Checked securities, but can't find any way out of this.
    Please help. Thanks.
