Flash Stand Alone Application with AMFPHP

Hello Everyone,

I would highly appreciate it if you anyone can confirm that I would be able to use Flash Remoting with AMFPHP 3.0 for a desktop application? I am planning to do a desktop application which will require dynamic data, the Issue is that I don't know whether AMFPHP will work with this application since it is a desktop application and will not be requiring a browser.

no, i know you can use amfphp with air on a host that has amfphp installed.

google it and i think you'll find a tutorial. (but it might be for flex/air/amfphp instead of flash/air/amfphp.)

Hello Kglad,

Well the desktop will be placed in a central location where users can access it. Do you think it is possible for me to employ this application without having to worry what I have mentioned in my thread or should consider other alternatives such as ZINC?

do you intend to require all your users to have amfphp installed?
