fluid brush tool problem

sometimes whenever I'm drawing with the fluid brush tool

my drawings get filled in and are irreversible making me lose progress and have to redo the drawing again
i don't know why the brush is doing that, also sometimes the lines I draw get deleted when I finish the line

Often this issue is chalked up to the nature of complex vectors. But I want to know, at what magnification are you drawing at. I find if you are zoomed in to the stage, drawings can fill in or get drawn in unexpected ways. Try drawing at 100% stage magnification.

yeah these are the settings I have for it

and yes I am zoomed in to draw so that the size of the assets isn't too big

Try drawing zoomed out instead of in and let me know if you still experience issues.
