Question

Font styles not showing up for all installed and adobe fonts

HELP!!! Animate does not give me the option to select font styles within a font family. The dropdown is not even active. It defaults to the first font in the selected font family. How can I fix this? This goes for installed and adobe activated fonts.

For anyone out there years later searching, and finding none of the "solutions" that everyone offers is working...

Check to see if this might be a variable weight font. Uninstall it, and install the STATIC versions of the font. I had two google fonts with this problem and noticed they both had variable and static options for download. On two different Macs with two different operating systems, they both started working when I reinstalled the *static* versions.
(and now I'm going to cut and paste this into all the threads that failed me 🙂

Do you see the search box above?

No need to post the same question if it has been answered 50 times already.

I see answers, but nothing was solved for the most recent Animate issues.

It's a bug and will be fixed in the near future, which sucks. Like your reply.
