Hi!

I´m new here. I hope I can find my answer.
I have this example about a gallery of tumbnail which I´m interested to follow http://ppersonales.ciudad.com.ar/isadoradesign/fa34.zip

I did it, but it only works in the 1st. button, the second that appears in the 2nd line of pictures (pinguin). The link is
http://www.isadoradesign.com.ar/fotos.htm

For the next button I did exactly the same changing links, pics., ecc. and they open and get bigger well, just that THE BUTTONS FROM THE GALLERY BELOW REMAINS OVER THE BIG PICTURE THAT HAS TO BE IN FRONT.

I search for the mistake in the code or actions but I don´t know why it worked for one and for the others.
Can anyone tell me what do I have to change? Here is the flash file or check the flash file http://personales.ciudad.com.ar/isadoradesign/pag_fotos_conswf.fla

I hope I was clear. thanks a lot Text

if you've got it working to your satisfaction, that's the main thing right? the essence of my suggestion was that you brought the zoom sequence out of all the thumbnail movieclips and then put this into just one movieclip. then make sure that this movieclip is "above" all of your thumbnails, and the problem you were describing would be resolved.

Ok. I could imagine it wasn´t the best to set up the zooming animation in every thumbnail , but as I took it from an example, I tried to applied just the same because I´m still learning how to use Flash and I´m not confident with my self...
Anyway, your advise is very interesting, but a bit complex to me, I´m afraid.

Now I reach out a similar solution with depths and it works. But if you have time I´ll appreciate you could give further explanation.

Check it http://www.isadoradesign.com.ar/portfolio.htm

thanks a lot!

well out of those three links i got one to work! your problem is simple - your thumbnails are all at different depths right? they're all on the same layer but even on the same layer objects either appear on top of or behind eachother, depending on how you've set them up.

you've set up the image zooming animation in every thumbnail - as this is the same sequence for every thumbnail (apart from which image eventually loads, this is redundant and you'd be better advised to say separate this sequence from the thumbnail buttons. you could now just have the one clip for zooming in to a picture which loads the jpg depending on a variable you set. this sequence could be 'on top' of the thumbnails and this would ensure this always appears above them.

i´m afraid the server had troubles for a moment. http://personales.ciudad.com.ar/isadoradesign/pag_fotos_conswf.fla
It´s ok now if you want to check it.

Check this file pag_fotos_conswfparapost1.fla It´s the same file only without the sounds and some images so that is smaller. I uploaded in 2 different ways:
http://www.rioplatense.netfirms.com/pag_fotos_conswfparapost1.fla
http://ar.geocities.com/divineisa/pag_fotos_conswfparapost1.fla

There´s an "images_pagfotos" folder where I put the images. Are they necessary ? I can zip them also, but I think you can see them how the open in here http://www.isadoradesign.com.ar/fotos.htm

I don´t know what to do because I can´t attach files here, right? And it´s important for me that you see this .fla file.

thanks a lot for helping!!!
