Grouped Objects moving on Load

Hello, i've noticed a persistent problem with groups on loading an animate file. I close and open projects often and over time i've noticed grouped objects not staying in place. You can see in the first image this is how it was saved; but in the second shows how it has been loaded. All the objects have moved in different ways. I have to manually fix this every time.

Over time, my content shifts and if I dont touch groups on other layers and this can be what I come back to:

I can't describe the frustration when I need to make a round of changes and it takes quadruple the time as I have to reposition everything. I've updated everything, reinstalled and these problems persist. This is a huge problem with Animate.

This is such nonsense.  I have the exact same problem.  "We will let the team know" and then nothing... thread dies.

If you have to know, when you are done with your drawing, Ctrl Shift D (distribute to layers) will resolve this.  When you have a group that has multiple groups nested, and each group has a different registration point, then over time, things will start to move.  If you place your drawing into a Group Layer, and each group and registration point is on its own layer, things will be more stable...

animate appears to have been abandoned by adobe.

@Enzo229557902rze  Please share a sample file with us. We will investigate and let you know if there are any workaround to avoid the issue and work on a fix as well. Also let us know the Animate version you are using. Thanks!

You can also try converting each parts of your character(groups) into symbols and see if it fixes your issue. Example: you can try converting the whole character to a symbol or convert the body parts (head,hand,legs..) in to each symbol and see if it works fine.

Animate is an absolute wreck.

Each new version is worse than the previous and it's drowning in hundreds of bugs.

Find an old copy of Flash CS5, CS5.5 or CS6 and you will be able to do your work without losing your sanity and your precious time.

Hi.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

For now, if you're using the latest release, I suggest you to downgrade to a previous version and see what happens.

You can also let the team know about it as well:

I hope it helps.

Regards,
