Has anyone tried the Rocket Launch Interactive tutorial on Adobe Animate?

I followed the tutorial twice and when I clicked "Test Animation" nothing happens. All I get is a blank screen. I went over painstakingly on the javascript steps but nothing improved. Can someone please help me? Can someone please show me what I am missing here? And can I move on?

i use flash 8 so i dont know much about adobe animate but you can use the online version (like what @kglad suggested) or you can see if someone uploaded the tutorial on youtube

you can also look up unofficial tutorials of adobe animate, i suggest watching alan becker's flash tutorials (despite them being for flash cs6, but i think they can also be used for adobe animate)
