Having trouble converting my swf/fla files into other formats

Hello, Ive recently made my first animation and have saved it as both swf and fla files. I'm trying to upload this to youtube which tells me to use a different format. I've tryed about 15 different "free conversion" sites and a few free trials of differnt programs but everytime i try i get a message that there is a problem with my uploaed format, or i get a very corrupted file that is half the length of my actual animation. I've uploaded it to Newgrounds.com and it works fine, but people can't view this format on their phones. Please help, I've been trying to convert my stupid file for 2 days now and am at wits end. I may even be willing to pay if any of you out there can convert my file to a mov or wmv file. Please help me! Pleeeeeaaaase!

Given that you are talking about SWF files I'm guessing that you are working from a file based on ActionScript 3.0. From the menu...

File > Export > Export Video

I'm working on a Mac and I was able to export out a MOV file with no problems.

There is also the menu option...

         File > Export > Movie

This allows you to export out a sequence of still images. If you have no luck exporting out a video, you could try exporting out an image sequence and construct them into a single video using another program.

As Michael Bullo said, the standard practice is to export a PNG sequence, which you then render into a video in Premiere or other similar program.

For youtube choose h.264 MP4 or MOV.

Alternatively there is Swivel which may be able to convert your SWF to video if you haven't used some unsupported features.

You may also be able to import your FLA into AfterEffects and export from there.
