I keep getting an error called: "Error creating SWF movie file"

"Be sure the destionation file is not read-only or opened by another application. Also, check that the file name is not too long."

    That error also happens everytime i try to export video/media

    restart your computer.

    open your problematic fla

    click file > save as > save with a new name in a new directory.

    click file publish setting > swf > file output name > navigate to that new directory and assign a swf name without weird characters (use only alphanumeric and underscore).

    publish a swf.  any problem?

    export a video (again using a non-weird name).  any problem?

    create a new folder and save your fla (using save as) there using a new name in that folder.  

     

    if that fails, restart animate and do the same.

     

    if that fails, restart your computer > start animage and do the same.
