help! all my mouths are not displayed in lip synch pop up

help! all my mouths are not displayed in lip synch pop up - I've made them into symbols and have them all lined up next to each other as key frames. but when I click  the lip synch button it only shows me that mouth and no others. I'm a novice but this is for work and its due tomorrow if anyone can help !!!
