HELP! Saved file disappeared !! Adobe Animate

Question

Hi my file at Animate says " the file associated with this document has been moved or deleted outside of Animate. You may want to resave the document before continuing. "

So I resaved it and now the file has disappeared. I checked auto-recovery and it's not there, i checked the bin and it was all in .doc files and I could open any? Can someone please help because it's an important file. I'm using macbook air.
